You don’t need to tolerate certain behaviors and actions in fear of your reaction signifying to certain people that you are impacted by their actions. Self-love is doing what is best for your soul, regardless of how it appears externally to prejudiced eyes. It is within your right to be tired of someone’s shit, acknowledge their presence is unwanted and inflammatory, and a repetitive imposition on your boundaries. And it is your obligation, if you value self-preservation, to either speak up on it or distance yourself without any explanation because a lot of the time, people know exactly what they are doing. And by continuing to tolerate it, you are setting a harmful precedent.

Your peace is at stake if you allow the mistreatment and disrespect to continue.

Some profusely try to convince themselves that your reaction is because of their significance, even if they are the ones who won’t stop poking the bear. Once they are shown their actions are not welcomed, whether they are ignored, blocked, or disregarded after repeatedly overstepping, they falsely twist the narrative in their minds that they ‘won.’

But what they fail to understand is you do not care how you are perceived, especially by those who are the problem and don’t know when to cut the shit. You will protect your spirit by any means necessary, and that includes revoking access to their energy when you see exactly what they are doing. You could openly share the actions which led to your decision and embarrass the fuck out of them, but instead, you choose silence, integrity, and knowledge of the truth which always surfaces in one way or another.
